What are the Vape Kits for adult smokers?

For adults who would otherwise continue to smoke or use other nicotine products, vaping is a smoke-free alternative. Vaping is a different experience from smoking cigarettes. Box mods are vaping devices with advanced customization options and are recommended for those who have some experience with vaping. Most box mod vape kits will come with a variable wattage, battery-powered device and a tank. Unlike vape pens or pod vapes which prioritize ease-of-use and portability, box mods are larger in size and prioritize power and customization, giving vapers more experience. The powerful batteries on box mods can accommodate larger tanks and a variety of coils, which is why box mods are known to produce thick clouds of vapour. However, using box mods isn’t necessarily an intuitive experience, which is why they may be preferred by more advanced adult users. 

If you’ve ever seen people blowing out huge, thick clouds of vapour with a vaping device, it is likely sub ohm vaping. With a box mod vape, more advanced users can attach a sub ohm atomizer that can allow them to vape with a low resistance level - less than 1 ohm. Ohms are a unit of measurement that determines how much resistance is applied to the electrical signal traveling from the battery to the atomizer. In addition to the massive clouds that users can get from a sub ohm vape kit, users can also enjoy various aromas and flavours from the vapour. 

Cigalikes are a type of vape that look a lot like cigarettes in size, shape, and often have a light at the end that resembles the lit end of a cigarette - but the resemblance stops there. Cigalikes are rechargeable, smoke-free vaping devices, and have been around since the emergence of e-cigarettes and vapes on the market. E-liquid goes into a pre-filled chamber which screws directly into the battery, and starter kits often come with the device and refills. 

Vape kits usually contain everything that is needed for adult smokers who are beginning their journey of switching to vaping - such as the device, mouthpiece, batteries, or chargers, and even an assortment of accompanying e-liquids in various flavours and/or nicotine levels. There could be various kinds of vape kits on the market, that can be useful for those adults who are familiar with vaping but just looking to try different types of vapes. 

E-cigarettes and vapes both refer to the same category of smoke-free alternatives to cigarettes for adults who would otherwise continue to smoke or use other nicotine products. Therefore, yes, e-cigarettes and vape kits are the same. It just comes down to how you personally want to refer to them! 

The right vape kit for you depends on your preference. We recommend also considering what point you’re at in your journey of switching from smoking to vaping - if you are just beginning or have more experience with vaping already. Some adult smokers may prefer to start their switching journey with cigalikes, vape pens or pod vapes as they can be easier to use.
